Scalable i/o (cabling) is essential for large scale quantum systems. Delft Circuits and Orange Quantum Systems have together worked on field testing and benchmarking Cri/oFlex®, the integrated i/o solution of Delft Circuits for Orange QS’ large scale quantum systems in different projects. This case study describes the i/o requirements for large quantum systems and connects that to product offering of Delft Circuits. Also, it highlights learnings from different projects we carried out. Ranging from validation of Cri/oFlex® for qubit experiments on a limited number of qubits, to building systems with dozens of qubits with a focus on scalability.
