The Case of the Misbehaving Superconducting Qubits

This joint work between QM and Qruise discusses the applications of physics based Machine Learning to improve the performance of flux based gates in superconducting qubits. A data driven approach is utilised to characterise essential qubit and control stack parameters which can then be used to design gates robust to various hardware constraints, resulting in nearly 50% improvements in performance benchmarks.
