Rydberg atoms are inherently sensitivity to electromagnetic signals, and tunable anywhere in the electromagnetic spectrum. Until recently, the instantaneous bandwidth of these sensors has limited use to narrowband applications. Through innovation at Infleqtion and L3Harris, Rydberg atom sensors can now be tuned from kHz to 100s of MHz, opening the door to widespread use in modern communications and sensing systems. This talk covers this and other advancements that are helping Infleqtion and L3Harris bring Rydberg atom (aka Quantum RF) sensors to market.
