New research shows evidence of quantum utility: a point at which quantum computers could serve as scientific tools to explore a new scale of problems that classical systems may never be able to solve. Backed by this evidence, IBM is upgrading its full fleet of quantum systems to large-scale quantum processors with more than 100 qubits. This presentation will explain how this technological progress was achieved — and how new working groups in high energy physics, health care and life sciences, materials, and optimization are tapping into these utility-scale systems to advance the value of quantum computing.
