Since 2020 Qunnect has been innovating hardware to enable entanglement distribution networking over optical fiber. In 2023 the company launched GothamQ, a network of 300+km of existing commercial grade dark fiber in New York city to demonstrate the performance of their products over real Metropolitan infrastructure. GothamQ serves as a laboratory to assess deployment challenges, inform design improvements and implement potential use cases.
