Commercially-useful quantum computers will require millions of physical qubits; a target which none of the qubit types known today can reach in a single Quantum Processing Unit (QPU). Fault Tolerant Quantum Computers will be comprised of tens or hundreds QPUs interconnected via Quantum Networking Units, enabling datacenter-scale entanglement distribution. Nu Quantum, Cambridge-UK based company, is pioneering this technology.
