Quantum Computing for Material Ageing Problematic in Energy Industry

Material ageing is a crucial issue in industries, even more when it comes to provide millions of people in sustainable energy. Simulation of materials plays a central part of understanding and forecasting defects, but some limitations remain with classical methods (paramagnetism, strongly correlated materials). In this talk, we present a method to simulate strongly correlated electrons on a PASQAL’s quantum platform, paving the way towards the simulation of materials of interest.
