Quantum enhanced Materials Modelling: Algorithmic Breakthroughs and Applications

 In this talk I present Phasecraft’s algorithmic breakthroughs for quantum enhanced materials simulation on quantum computers. The quantum simulation of materials properties occurs on the shortest length scales and fastest time scales, where  achieving chemical accuracy on traditional computers for many systems is intractable. Quantum simulation using a quantum computer can overcome these limitations, and we show that through algorithmic breakthroughs we have brought practical quantum advantage within touching distance for materials simulation
