With the prospect of quantum computers providing advantage over classical systems, connecting quantum computers in the near future is a necessity for scaling computational power and promises to provide unprecedented enhanced computational cloud security. With rudimentary quantum networks to have been proven to work in academia, in this talk I will show which technologies are being developed towards the goal of a fully deployed, interconnected quantum internet between quantum computers at larger scale.
